Le mouvement des lycéens et des étudiants en France, attire l'attention générale sur la crise actuelle de l'Éducation. Il intéresse le monde entier, les mêmes causes risquant de produire les mêmes effets.

S'il y a bien un point qui révèle le caractère ultra réactionnaire de certaines forces politiques en France, mais aussi de bien d'autres partis et gouvernements de par le monde, ce sont les positions sur l'Éducation et particulièrement celles sur l'accès à l'enseignement supérieur et à l'Université.

Finnish President Alexander Stubb and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre have finally done something that should have been happening throughout this entire war. They picked up the telephone and spoke directly with Vladimir Putin. On October 27, the two leaders initiated a conversation with the Russian president to discuss ending the war in Ukraine and restoring some degree of stability to Europe.

I voted for Trump because he promised "no more wars." Holding a man to his most important promise about matters of life and death is what self-respecting grownups do.

Many readers were offended by my post Both Sides of TDS. They apparently believe that Trump's decision to break ten years of promises not to start new wars is a minor point. Others apparently believe that Trump always intended to vanquish the Iranian regime, which they believe "has been at war with the US since 1979." They seem to believe that Trump never mentioned this intention because he assumed that prospective voters would understand that attacking Iran did not qualify as a "new war."

The U.S. military - potentially in conjunction with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) - is preparing to conduct new, major operations against Iran should President Donald Trump give the order, CNN reported Monday.

Two U.S. officials told CNN that U.S. forces were ready to strike "within 96 hours of receiving" Trump's order. And this time, they said, it will "likely go beyond efforts to simply 'mow the lawn' or maintain the status quo by striking radars, launchers and other Iranian assets that can be quickly reconstituted."
