I have been thinking for some time about the disappearing quality of food. Consider restaurants. I remember when people went to restaurants to enjoy dishes that even good cooks could not prepare at home. Many mothers and grandmothers grew up with the adage that the way to a man's heart was through his stomach. Children needed nutritional food in order to perform well in school and in sports.

The Direct Comparison of Debt to GDP
This article is longer than my usual contribution, but the issue is of critical importance. Donald Trump's meeting with Xi Jinping is taking place at a time of unprecedented economic turmoil caused by the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. As I have discussed in my recent articles, the disruption of the supply chains for oil, Liquid Natural Gas, sulfur, helium and urea marks a global event that has not happened in modern history.

Sebastian Gorka again. This time Gorka acts like he knows the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. He claims the First Amendment prohibits incitement. It does, under certain conditions. The Supreme Court ruled speech is prohibited if directed at inciting or producing imminent lawless action. Furthermore, the speech must be likely to incite or produce such action.

President Trump arrived in China on Wednesday, 13 May, and received full red-carpet treatment from start to finish, in line with China's customary hospitality toward visiting leaders-even when they are not especially aligned with China's political and economic principles.
The Trump delegation first visited the Temple of Heaven in Beijing.

On 12 May 2026, I was on "Judging Freedom" talking with the Judge about the growing realization in the American body politic that not only is the Iran war lost, but the defeat will have disastrous consequences for the US and countries all over the world. Of course, the Judge and virtually all of his regular guests have been saying that for a long time, but many refused to believe that the war was a lost cause.

The state has two monopolies it must protect whatever the cost: the monopoly on decreeing what is legal tender and on force.
We're entering an era in which push comes to shove will lead to immovable objects encountering irresistible forces. All sorts of verities and vanities will be bulldozed as kicking the can down the road descends into desperation to stave off collapse, a desperation that unleashes second order effects the desperate did not anticipate.
U.s. Experiencing Price Increases

The stalemate in the War of Iran is characterized by bets on each side that the enemy side will soon incur unsustainable economic problems.
After several wars and decades of sanctions Iran is well versed in how to sustain under economic pressure. Its people and government know of the larger picture. Price fluctuations are inconveniences but do not change the will of the people.

Europe is sleepwalking straight into another migration catastrophe, and the politicians responsible for destroying the continent still refuse to admit what they have done. Greek Migration Minister Thanos Plevris has now openly warned that roughly 550,000 migrants are currently waiting in Libya for the opportunity to cross the Mediterranean into Europe.

The Russians have developed the most sophisticated nuclear missile in the history of the world by a very wide margin, and it is specifically designed to be used in a future nuclear war with the United States. The RS-28 Sarmat is an intercontinental ballistic missile that has a maximum speed of approximately 15,500 miles per hour. It is 116 feet tall, and that makes it roughly as tall as a ten story building.
