Democrats love foreigners but despise the U.S.A.

If there had been any confusion over what Democrats believe or whom the Democrat Party supports, this week has been clarifying.

Susan Rice - the serial liar who falsely blamed the September 11, 2012, murder of four Americans in Benghazi, Libya, on an Internet video; weaponized Intelligence Community surveillance by illegally unmasking the names of Trump transition officials in 2016; and pushed the Russia Collusion Hoax for the last decade - went on a podcast to promise retribution for any American seen as bending the "knee to Trump." The woman who ran Joe Biden's White House explicitly promised that "this is not going to be an instance of forgive and forget" once Democrats retake power in Washington, D.C.

Hillary Clinton told members of Congress on Feb. 26 that she does not have knowledge about crimes carried out by the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

"I had no idea about their criminal activities. I do not recall ever encountering Mr. Epstein. I never flew on his plane or visited his island, homes, or offices," the former first lady and secretary of state said in her opening statement to the House Oversight Committee.

On February 25, I wrote on this website that the most important part of President Trump's State of the Union address was the refusal of Democrats to stand if they agreed with his statement: "the first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens."

Actually, there is an equally important element in his address, perhaps more important, and that is President Trump's statement that tariffs would eventually replace the system of income taxation.

The release of the Epstein files has revealed a striking reversal: the same institutions that cast themselves as guardians of integrity now find their own leaders entangled in scandals they once felt safely distant from.

On 25 February 2026, I appeared on Glenn Diesen's podcast to talk about whether the US is likely to attack Iran, especially in light of his State of the Union address the previous evening (February 24). I made the argument that one could read Trump's address to signal that he is moving away from attacking Iran. Of course, one cannot be confident that is the case, but his rhetoric certainly pushes in that direction.

When I was a wee lad back in America 1.0, I never noticed how poorly everything was run. When my parents bought anything, I don't remember them having to take it back because something was wrong with it. They certainly didn't spend a lot of time calling companies with automated menus, arguing with thickly accented "representatives."

Sometimes I feel like shouting, "Consarn it ! Who runs things around here?" Can I talk to the NIC, as we used to joke back when you could joke ? Btw, nobody used that expression more than my Black co-workers.

This will inevitably delay the planned US aggression on Iran. Given this string of embarrassing flops, perhaps it's for the best for the Pentagon.
