John Helmer Explains the Peace Negotiations

By Paul Craig Roberts
PaulCraigRoberts.org

January 3, 2026

In this interview by Nima of John Helmer on Dialogue Works, Helmer presents much detailed information that probably tasks the understanding of most Americans. Nevertheless, he makes two very important points and one is that it is not yet known whether the drone attack was an attack on Putin's residence or whether it was an attack on a bunker that is part of the Russian nuclear war control system.

What Is Worse Than Donald Trump ?

By Philip Giraldi
The Unz Review

January 3, 2026

Even when you begin to think that it can't get any worse with Donald J. Trump as President of the United States the Orangeman does something that is so stupid and so reflective of a man who thinks only about himself that it makes one's shudder in disbelief. Last week included some completely bizarre performances that could lead to nuclear war while also falsely promoting that our leader is a "man of peace." That is in spite of the fact that it has become hard to imagine that Trump can even pronounce the word "peace" without an interpreter or the five letter word flashing up in boldface on his teleprompter screen.

Gen. Michael Flynn Asks Trump to Hold the Deep State Accountable in 2026

By Paul Dragu
The New American

January 3, 2026

It's been 13 months since voters reelected Donald Trump. To say they voted for change is an understatement.

Americans wanted, first and foremost, to preserve their country. The United States was on a path to full-blown collapse. The previous administration's open-borders policies alone put in motion a litany of destructive changes that would've destroyed the country if they had continued for another four years.

That was the denouement in the noire movie classic "Keeper of the Flame", which film is described this way at Amazon:

It's no surprise that Keeper of the Flame came out in 1942, the same year as Casablanca. In this would-be film noir, the problems of two little people again don't amount to a hill of beans when it comes to fighting fascism in other countries-not to mention the United States.

Controlled Dissent: The Hidden System That Broke Charlie Kirk

New evidence reveals how America's pro-Israel establishment disciplines defiance - and why one man's ideological independence became a national threat.

Phantom Pain

January 2, 2026

Newly obtained group messages, and a posthumous admission from a close ally, show that in the 48 hours before he died Charlie Kirk was openly severing the ties that had for years tethered him to the pro-Israel donor class.

Looking Back at 2025: The Revolution Is Just Beginning

Trump remakes the world.

By J.B. Shurk
American Thinker

January 2, 2026

End-of-year wrap-ups take three forms: autopsy, obituary, or eulogy. If the year is particularly bad, it is dissected like a corpse and forgotten in a morgue freezer. If it had its moments, a few biographical flourishes are relived. And, occasionally, a year is filled with enough memorable events to deserve a grand send-off.

Several readers responded to my post yesterday (Maui County's Bungling Revolutionaries) by urging me to endorse the theory that Lahaina was set ablaze and the fire intensified and maintained by the use of Directed Energy Weapons (DEWs) such as the following:

Anarchy and Voluntaryism

By Doug Casey
International Man

January 1, 2026

You're likely aware that I'm a libertarian. But I'm actually more than a libertarian. I don't believe in the right of the State to exist. The reason is that anything that has a monopoly of force is extremely dangerous. As Mao Tse-tung, lately one of the world's leading experts on government, said: "The power of the state comes out of a barrel of a gun."

Democrat Idiocy at Work in San Francisco

By Paul Craig Roberts
PaulCraigRoberts.org

January 1, 2026

At times I have expressed doubts whether Americans have enough sense to continue to survive as a people, and they keep proving my doubts justified. The London Daily Mail reported yesterday that San Francisco voters elected a mayor who has just sneaked through a reparations bill that gives each black resident of San Francisco $5 million to "compensate the affected population for the decades of harms that they have experienced."

Who Is Helping Low Iq Migrants Defraud American Taxpayers ?

By Brandon Smith
Alt-Market.us

January 1, 2026

I've been writing about the inherent fraud behind third-world immigration for many years now, including the rarely addressed issue of remittances flowing from migrants in the US back to their countries of origin. Third worlders tend to act like a nest of vampires, bleeding the US and giving indirect sustenance to their failing home economies. This process is heavily enabled by foreign governments that rely on this river of dollars to stay afloat.

On Tuesday, President Trump denounced the New York Times in a Truth Social post as a "serious threat to the National Security of our Nation" and a "TRUE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE" for publishing an article detailing Trump's close personal relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. "Chasing women was a game of ego and dominance. Female bodies were currency," the Times reported.

2025: The Year the Government Stopped Pretending It Cared About Freedom

By John & Nisha Whitehead
The Rutherford Institute

January 1, 2026

Some years chip away at freedom. Others tear the mask off.

2025 was the year the government stopped pretending it was constrained by the Constitution-when executive power expanded openly and unapologetically, surveillance became ambient, dissent became dangerous, and the machinery of militarized government embedded itself into daily life.
