United States officials are considering finalizing new agreements with Russia even before the conflict in Ukraine ends, an American newspaper reported, citing sources. However, despite reports that the White House wants to sign deals with the Kremlin, US President Donald Trump signed a law that can impose 100% tariffs on countries that purchase oil and gas from Russia.

It appears that nothing says "saving Democracy" like a good old-fashioned military coup. A new survey from the Center for Strategic Politics found that 59 percent of Democrats would favor a military coup to remove President Donald Trump from office. All it took was four years out of power for these Democratic voters to embrace a coup d'état to negate the results of the last election.

Last December 18, President Trump signed an executive order entitled, "Increasing Medical Marijuana and Cannabidiol Research." Trump ordered the Attorney General and the Drug Enforcement Administration to speed up rule-making to finally enable far more medical research on the benefits of marijuana.

Conscription is a form of indentured servitude. Murray Rothbard argued that everyone has a natural right to self-defense, but "we have no moral right to use coercion-the bayonet or the revolver-to force someone else to defend us."
Rothbard argued that if we want men to stand in our defense, "the way to induce people to volunteer for hazardous jobs is to pay them extra as compensation." And yet, instead of offering a wage that would reward men who sign up willingly, governments rely on force to press conscripts into service.

On the surface, it doesn't look as if Putin's 4.5-year-old war against the proxy of Russia's enemy-Ukraine- instead of against the enemy itself-the US and Europe-had any effect on United Russia, the party that supports Putin.
