National Public Radio, "NPR", was founded in 1970. It is partially funded by taxpayer money. But like many nonprofits and NGOs, it takes in a lot of money from donors, often with political motives.
It is no secret that NPR has always "leaned left".

A fire broke out at a munitions plant in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Minimal damage. No deaths. The plant is owned by the Federal Government via Taxpayer money - and General Dynamics uses the facility to make munitions for - Ukraine. Silly me - I thought our Federal Government needed money to make munitions for America - according to Justifiable - Mike Johnson.

Donald Trump last week said he opposes any national legislation on abortion, and said he supports state governments adopting their own policies. According to USA Today: "Former President Donald Trump said individual states should choose their own abortion restrictions, avoiding talk of any kind of federal government ban and drawing criticism from Democrats and anti-abortion Republicans alike on a pivotal election issue....At the end of the day, this is all about the will of the people."

As I predicted on April 11, the police state got the Republicans to reconsider and to pass their warrantless spying and home entry. The Republican Speaker of the House Mike Johnson cast the deciding vote that nixed the warrant requirement.
This tells us all we need to know about Republicans. They are part of the problem.
Super-Patriots will say "we have to do this to protect ourselves from terrorists." They don't understand that without the Constitution we have no protection.

House Speaker Mike Johnson betrayed liberty and the Constitution by making a full-court press to get a "clean" reauthorization of Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance (FISA) Act through the House.
Section 702 authorizes warrantless surveillance of foreign citizens. When the FISA Act was passed, surveillance state boosters promised that 702 warrantless surveillances would never be used against American citizens.
