House Speaker Mike Johnson betrayed liberty and the Constitution by making a full-court press to get a "clean" reauthorization of Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance (FISA) Act through the House.

Section 702 authorizes warrantless surveillance of foreign citizens. When the FISA Act was passed, surveillance state boosters promised that 702 warrantless surveillances would never be used against American citizens.

A few weeks ago, I travelled to the studio from which Tucker Carlson films his "Tucker Carlson Podcast."

It was an appealing, down-to-earth studio, in an out-of-the-way location. I was impressed - as I had been in his studio locations in years past - with the pleasant, well-organized calm that prevailed among his excellent team, in what was surely a vortex of power, scrutiny, audience feedback and controversy that could have put other workplaces into a stressful tailspin.

Nearly 20 years ago when I started my work in the independent media the common mantra among my peers was noting the existence of the "false left/right paradigm" - The idea that Democrats and Republicans were essentially the same and were working towards the same exact authoritarian goals. This was before the Ron Paul movement and the libertarian/patriot shift within conservative circles when Neocons (fake conservatives) dominated all Republican discourse.

Last week, we had a total eclipse of the sun. For some reason, human beings always get excited about an event they've probably experienced at least a handful of times in their life. But then again, people at least in my neck of the woods, still become spellbound when the snow starts to fall. Maybe it's a form of childish innocence.

Here in the D.C. swamp suburbs, nothing much happened on the day of the eclipse.

In a previous essay, I broached the topic of popular nullification in the context of rejecting the State's propaganda. Citizens are increasingly seeing through the lies Western governments regularly tell their populations in order to buttress their authority and maintain effective social control. As awful as COVID's lockdowns and other rank authoritarian mandates were, they proved salubrious in educating the public as to how government institutions (including health agencies) fabricate scientific evidence and betray basic medical ethics in pursuit of broader totalitarian agendas.

Il ne faut pas oublier non plus que plusieurs projets de loi à travers le monde s'alignent parfaitement avec ce Traité sur les pandémies de l'OMS, dont leProjet de loi nº50 du gouvernement Legault qui constitue un réel danger pour l'ensemble des Québécois.

Le 7 octobre 2023, le Hamas a franchi la clôture de Gaza. Il a envahi des installations militaires et des kibboutz dans le but de prendre autant d'otages que possible. Ceux-ci devaient être emmenés à Gaza en vue de futurs échanges de prisonniers.
