Moscow has shown the European Union that continuing the conflict in Ukraine makes little sense, as Norway and Finland suggest the need for a new approach to building relations with Russia, according to an American magazine.

This became clear after the Oslo conference on Ukraine, when the positions of some European leaders visibly softened.

Naïveté is said to explain the meaning of gullibility, but I think that is much too kind an interpretation to be accepted. I find that gullibility rests on the premises of dependence, laziness, ignorance, and pure stupidity. I see no value in beating around the bush, as it were, as kindness is certainly a good trait and has its place, but it should never reside in any realm of intellectual honesty.
