The United States is selling oil short, just as it has kept down the price of gold through financial manipulation, selling gold forward short for many years. China has taken the lead in creating a whole alternative to the SWIFT system.

The Canadian Confederation was based on liberal ideas. In nature every person has the right to life, liberty, and property and these rights precede government. Classical liberals believed that governments, like Canada, were constituted by consenting individuals to protect these rights, and to minimize conflict in enforcing them.

By Larry C. Johnson

September 16, 2026

On 14 September 2026, with American diesel having crossed six dollars a gallon for the first time in history, President Trump settled the question of blame in a single sentence posted to social media: "The World's Diesel price rise is mostly caused by the Russia/Ukraine War, not Iran." A day earlier, at his golf resort in Doonbeg, Ireland, he had told Zelensky to "stop knocking out diesel fuel in Russia," because the strikes were "hurting the world."

I Protest

September 16, 2026

The 25th anniversary of 9/11 has really brought out the trolls. I don't know how many of them are paid, but X has been invaded by illogic, as an army of shills attempts lamely to prop up one of their most important lies. It's the same insidious hivemind mentality that insists we ignore every giant cultural elephant destroying the room.

In September, 1976, as a result of the new Freedom of Information Act, a revealing April 1, 1967 CIA memo was released, titled "Countering Criticism of the Warren Report." April 1 ? Was this one of their inside jokes ? At any rate, the memo begins by stating "Our concern," which revolves around the majority of the public disbelieving the ridiculous conclusions of the Warren Commission.

By Paul Dragu
The New American

For more than a decade, tech experts have warned that artificial intelligence could wipe out humanity. For the most part, it remained a niche issue among reporters, tech insiders, and news junkies.

But recent warnings from an AI researcher-turned-whistleblower named Jacob Coxon made this topic mainstream. Now seemingly everyone, and every mainstream media outlet, is talking about deadly robots.

The Us « Burden Sharing Network » Takes Shape

By Brian Berletic
New Eastern Outlook

September 16, 2026

In 2025, the US National Security Strategy paper would be broadly misinterpreted as a US plan to break with its historical pursuit of global primacy and instead retreat to the Western Hemisphere while somehow reconciling or coexisting with traditional targets of US aggression.

Many analysts even claimed there was an absence of any direct mention of Russia or China as part of long-standing "great power competition."
