Un troisième mort en Chine dû à l'apparition d'un nouveau virus, l'épidémie gagne la Corée du Sud

Major General biochemical weapon expert takes over Wuhan P4 Lab

🇫🇷

China announced that Major General Chen Wei, China's chief biochemical weapon defense expert, now stations in Wuhan to take over the Wuhan P4 Lab linked to China's covert biological weapons program.

Wuhan P4 Lab has drawn world attention since the outbreak of Wuhan novel coronavirus. Some wondered if the virus was 'leaked' from the lab, which is located at the epicenter.

Zhengli Shi, a renowned researcher working at the P4 lab, co-authored a controversial paper in 2015 to create a new virus by combining a coronavirus found in Chinese horseshoe bats with another that causes human-like severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) in mice.

Announcement of military takeover of P4 Lab:

From China State Media:

Major General Chen Wei, China's chief biochemical weapon defense expert, stationed in Wuhan.

As soon as the goddess of war in our country has been dispatched, those entertainment stars were immediately pale comparing with her. The star chaser should chase such stars, because she is our idol, the shield of lives in our country!

She is the academic leader of the "Biohazard Prevention and Control" national innovation team. She has made important contributions in the fight against SARS, Ebola and many other hard battles with outstanding achievements.

With the efforts of General Chen Wei, academician Zhong Nanshan, and academician Li Lanjuan, China can completely defeat the novel coronavirus!

A recount of recent events that led to the military take over of the P4 Lab

On Jan 25, Chinese dissident Miles Guo mentioned the link between Wuhan P4 Lab and the Wuhan epidemic. The GNews report on this has gained worldwide attention.

Zhengli Shi, a renowned researcher working at the P4 lab, came out on Chinese social media to deny any possible leaks from her P4 lab and discredit a paper published by Indian scientists who discovered four S-protein inserts in the Wuhan coronavirus:

On Feb 3, Miles Guo identified Guo Deyin to be the lead scientist who created the Wuhan coronavirus, after the Chinese military website Xilu.com admitted that the virus is manmade but accused the U.S. of using it to attack China.

On Feb 4, a Chinese citizen Xu Bo publicly accused Wuhan Institute of Virology for leaking the virus due to its mismanagement, which is very unusual in China.

Xu Bo, the chairman of Duoyi Network, posted on Weibo to publicly allege a suspected virus leak from the Wuhan Institute of Virology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, which caused the outbreak of the novel coronavirus in 2019.

Excerpt of Xu Bo's Weibo post:

In light of the importance of epidemic prevention, I suspect that the mismanagement of experimental animals and the outflow of viral experimental animals at the Wuhan Institute of Virology caused the novel coronavirus outbreak in 2019 based on the following facts and evidences.

I decided to report the Institute of Virology to Wuhan (government) in the hope that the country will thoroughly investigate the management of experimental animals in the institute and the research on the transmission of related bat coronaviruses into humans.

Zhengli Shi and her manmade virus documented in a 2015 research paper published on Nature Medicine

Shi Zhengli (石正丽; born 26 May 1964) is a Chinese virologist and researcher at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Shi and her colleague Cui Jie found that the SARS virus originated in bats.

In 2015, American and Chinese scientists collaborated to create a new virus by combining a coronavirus found in Chinese horseshoe bats with another that causes human-like severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) in mice.

Two of the paper's co-authors, Xing-Yi Ge and Zhengli-Li Shi, were based at the Wuhan Institute of Virology at the time.

Their study demonstrated that the coronavirus - a different strain to Wuhan coronavirus - was capable of infecting human airway cells.

Other virologists like Simon Wain-Hobson at the Pasteur Institute in Paris expressed concerns over this paper at the time: "If the virus escaped, nobody could predict the trajectory,"

Rutgers University molecular biologist Richard Ebright agreed told the publication: "The only impact of this work is the creation, in a lab, of a new, non-natural risk."

It remains to be seen whether the Chinese government will find a low-level scapegoat for the "leak" of the virus.

According to Miles Guo, the Wuhan coronavirus was created by the Chinese Communist Party and spread in Wuhan on purpose under the order of Chinese Vice President Wang Qishan.
