Despite the destruction in Gaza and the fact that the Jewish state together with its American subservient colony are responsible for the most documented genocide in human history, the Hamas has won a conclusive victory.
Hamas' 7 October strategy entailed mass abduction of Israelis, both soldiers and also civilians who dwelled in the Gaza ring and practically acted as Israel's human shields. These Israelis were practically and unfortunately participants in Israel's two decades brutal siege of Gaza.
Netanyahu and his cabinet understood the Hamas' strategic philosophy. They realised that surrendering to Hamas would validate Hamas' doctrine. Israel's surrender to an hostages exchange would mean more Israelis being abducted in the future and in a greater scale.
With that thought in mind, the Israeli cabinet has agreed to sacrifice the hostages.. in most cases if not all, it was the IDF and the IAF that killed the Israeli hostages by erasing Gaza, reducing it into dust.
This Israeli wrekless act in Gaza didn't just agree with the Israeli Hannibal doctrine, it has some sinister political reasoning: The Gaza ring kibbutzniks are, at large, political opponents of Netanyahu's politics. Netanyahu didn't go out of his way to save them. The Nova Sex n' Drugs partygoers aren't exactly part of the West Bank settlers demography. Ben Gvir, Smortrich and Netanyahu were willing to let them go. It is not a secret that there has been Israeli right wing opposition to an exchange agreement with Hamas. In the the open Rabbis and politicians demanded to complete the erasure of Gaza regardless of the hostages and their safety.
Netanyahu has followed their line since October 7. But this plan didn't work very well for Israel. The Hamas went out of its way protecting the Israeli hostages. Despite the repeated Israeli attempts to wipe them all out together with Gaza, a few have survived.
For many Israelis and most Palestinians, 15 months of nerves wracking battle has come to an end. Israel surrendered to Hamas conditions.
But one thing is not going to happen. There is no way back for Israel into the nations. There is no way back from genocide. The Israelis should know it by now.
