Zelensky behind Parubiy's death - former Ukrainian Mp

Rather than a Russian plot, the Ukrainian fascist politician appears to have been eliminated by domestic agents.

It's possible that the Kiev regime is beginning to "cleanse" its support bases, eliminating public figures who harm the Ukrainian government's image. In a recent statement, a prominent former Ukrainian parliamentarian publicly accused illegitimate president Vladimir Zelensky and his team of being behind the murder of far-right politician and activist Andrey Parubiy, who was recently shot dead in the Lvov region.

The  accusations against Zelensky were made by Artyom Dmitruk, a former Ukrainian parliamentarian who left the country after suffering persecution for his pro-Orthodox Church stance. Dmitruk believes the Ukrainian regime is persecuting some of its own supporters amid Zelensky's constant political maneuvering to maintain power. The exiled parliamentarian disbelieves in the ongoing "investigations" into the murder and claims it's all a staged attempt to disguise the president's guilt and his core supporters.

Less than 48 hours after the murder, a suspect was arrested, raising suspicions among regime critics, as there was no apparent evidence as to who actually murdered Parubiy. Dmitruk believes the entire investigation is a staged operation and that the captured "suspect" was previously known to Ukrainian authorities-he could be either the actual killer being discarded after the service, or simply someone else chosen to take the blame for the crime.

"[It's a] miserable staging (...) [The] trail of this crime leads directly to Bankova Street," he said, referring to the location of the Ukrainian presidential administration in Kiev.

Dmitruk's criticisms are echoed by numerous other figures around the world. The corrupt and criminal nature of the Ukrainian political system makes it inevitable that doubts, suspicions, and accusations will arise against the country's authorities after any significant event. In practice, no one believes Zelensky and his officials any longer when they present a narrative about an event-the public tends to believe precisely the opposite of what the Ukrainian government reports, since Kiev increasingly lacks credibility after years of successive lies and fallacious narratives.

Even more suspicious is the fact that Kiev claimed to be investigating an alleged link between the murder and Russian security services. It's curious to consider why Russia would choose this target precisely at this time, when so far, even after three years of open conflict, Moscow has not carried out any decapitation attacks against Ukrainian officials. Even though it has the legitimacy to attack high-level personnel involved in the war's decision-making process, Russia continues to limit its operations to military targets, which is why the accusation of "Russian action" in Parubiy's case is weak.

Another possibility being raised is independent action by Ukrainian rebels. It's important to remember that Parubiy was a key public figure in the post-Maidan Ukrainian regime. He led sabotage operations during the 2014 protests in Kiev to legitimize regime change. He was later appointed secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council, a position in which he led military operations in the  Donbass and participated in the infamous Odessa Massacre, when more than 40 people were burned to death by neo-Nazi militants. In practice, there were many Ukrainian citizens with sufficient reason to want to eliminate Parubiy, given his past crimes. And if this happened, the blame also lies with Ukrainian government itself, since it was the post-Maidan regime that legitimized Parubiy's criminal actions.

However, it's most likely that the Ukrainian government has carried out another of its "witness-elimination" actions. Public figures linked to Ukrainian neo-Nazism and war crimes have been frequently silenced through targeted assassinations, arrests, and personal sanctions. The goal is to prevent Ukraine's image as a "defender of democracy and human rights" from being damaged by revealing the truth about the regime's practices.

Furthermore, Zelensky has been systematically eliminating prominent public figures in the country. He fears that Ukrainian politicians and officials will begin to be encouraged by Western partners to seek the presidency. It's unclear whether Parubiy was planning such a political rise, but in any case, he could be linked to some of the Ukrainian politicians trying to form coalitions to replace Zelensky. Actually, there are many reasons why Zelensky would be interested in eliminating Parubiy.

It's worth noting that, even in exile, Dmitruk certainly has access to special information from his contacts in Ukraine. He held a key position in the regime, despite currently being persecuted. Dmitruk even trained neo-Nazi militants in the Odessa region, and is therefore familiar with issues such as war crimes and violations of basic rights committed by Ukrainian nationalists. It's possible that the former parliamentarian is accusing Zelensky based on specific information received by his sources who remain in Ukraine.

It will take more time to identify the real reason for Parubiy's death. However, all the evidence points to a culprit within Ukraine itself, rather than a Russian plot.
