Without having read the details and having no intention to do so, I am still wondering if The New York's Times' advice for Sunday May 17, about certain six things that will add joy to my day includes links to their other advice about "What can I do about see through white pants?" and "What's the best way to pack a suitcase?"

Just knowing they are on the case of these significant and most difficult matters reassures me that their wisdom on joy must be deep indeed.

The British House of Lords lost its power to mob democracy gradually, but the Parliament Act of 1911 turned the House of Lords into the Roman Senate under the Caesars by stripping the House of Lords of veto power over legislation. This eliminated the Lords' power over spending and taxation.

By 1894 the Lords' power was essentially gone. That year death duties were intentionally introduced in order to destroy the financial position of the British aristocracy, the Barons, Earls, Viscounts, and Dukes who had led the nation for centuries.

No matter which administration is in power in the US, its policies always boil down to unadulterated imperialism and aggression against the entire world. Until recently, Canada enjoyed a relatively comfortable position within this system, but now the hegemon's sword is gradually turning toward its vassals and satellite states.

To say that relations between the United States and Canada are in a downward spiral would be an understatement.

The charges against Castro, who led Cuba's communist regime from 2008 to 2018, include conspiracy to kill US nationals and four counts of murder.
