Zuckerberg annonce que Trump est bloqué sur Facebook et Instagram pour une durée «indéterminée»

Il y a eu une purge des comptes de gauche dans les médias sociaux, les organisations socialistes étant ciblées par Facebook et de nombreux comptes associés à Antifa ayant été suspendus de Twitter.

"Nous venons de confirmer que Facebook a désactivé la page de l'International Youth and Students for Social Equality de l'Université du Michigan, ainsi que les comptes de tous les administrateurs", a tweeté aujourd'hui le rédacteur en chef du site World Socialist Website.

Facebook, la société de Mark Zuckerberg, est déjà coutumière de la censure des gouvernements. Après avoir fermé des comptes liés à l'armée française en Centrafique et au Mali, en décembre 2020, et ceux du président en exercice des États-Unis en janvier 2021, elle vient de fermer ceux de l'équipe du président ougandais.

Cette décision intervient à quelques jours de l'élection présidentielle ougandaise à laquelle le président Yoweri Museveni se représente.

On January 6, as the events unfolding at the U.S. Capitol were discussed on Twitter, the barrage of opinions predictably accumulated on one side of the political spectrum. Outrage over what mainstream pundits characterized as the desecration of the symbols of democracy and similar bleeding heart liberal rhetoric was far more prevalent than the opposing camp's tendency to side with the so-called "insurrectionists" or tweets in support of the made-for-social media putsch.
