Presidents perennially claim that they possess their power thanks to "the consent of the governed." This phrase, a signature line of the Declaration of Independence, has echoed in official declarations ever since Jefferson's time. President Harry Truman assured Congress in 1952, "No government can be invested with a higher dignity and greater worth than one based upon the principle of consent." But this has long since been a charade.
The US lost the first round of the war with Iran decisively. If Trump decides to go a second round, the results will be disastrous for American and its allies.

Iran thinks Iran is negotiating with Trump about restrictions being imposed on Iran's rights under the non-proliferation treaty. Iran is totally incorrect. This is a proxy issue. Iran's real issue is with Israel, and it is about Iran's right to exist. The Zionist agenda of Greater Israel, the foreign policy of the Netanyahu Israeli Government, requires the elimination of Iran as an organized sovereign state.
The enormity of the files is only emphasized by their lack of emphasis, and it is the duty of Catholics to drill in on the truth as opposed to the news.

Le Hamas a rejeté une proposition de désarmement soutenue par les États-Unis, la qualifiant de "piège" susceptible de déclencher une guerre interne à Gaza, selon des responsables palestiniens qui se sont entretenus avec Middle East Eye (MEE).
