This newsletter exists to help others, and as a result, I frequently receive correspondences from individuals with pressing questions I want to answer. Unfortunately, due to how much work goes into producing the material here, I simply no longer have the time to respond to most of those correspondences.

The best solution I've been able to come up with is to have monthly open threads where anyone can ask whatever is needed (e.g., any lingering questions from the previous month) so I could make a point to always reply to them (as having them all in a single place makes it easier to get to them and also possible for others with the same question to see that answer).

The Baltimore Rock Opera Society was founded in 2007 by several people who, judging by their names are white Gentiles. There is nothing "white supremacy" or racist about the group. As it includes live rock theater, it obviously cannot exclude blacks. Despite its innocence, the 501c3 organization has gotten into racist difficulties.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has effectively challenged the bond market to a fight, telling traders, "I have asymmetric information. I am the house now," and that they can "bet against him if they want." Treasury has expanded its buyback operations for long-term government bonds, increasing purchases to as much as $6 billion per operation after Bessent originally promised to at least double the normal size.

The point of AI is profit, dependence and dominance cloaked with Happy Story Hoopla about super-abundance. We have a super-abundance already-of malicious mayhem and cognitive impairment.

AI is by most accounts either 1) the greatest advance since the wheel, or at least since YouTube and/or 2) the greatest opportunity ever to skim billions or maybe even trillions of dollars in private gains.

One of my favorite anecdotes about the education racket comes from Lawrence Lindsey's 1990 book The Growth Experiment (page 210, to be precise).

The question was: how many bureaucrats operate in the New York City public school system ? It took two dozen phone calls to find someone who both knew the answer and was authorized to disclose it: six thousand.

It would help to have something to compare that number to, so the author contacted the Archdiocese of New York, whose Catholic schools educated one-sixth as many students - so they should have had one thousand bureaucrats if the proportion held.

The lingering, haunting, and terrifying possibility that a catastrophic nuclear conflict could break out and destroy much of human civilization is not something that most people like to think about. En Chine, 40 millions de musulmans vivent leur foi, pratiquent leur culte et portent les vêtements de leur choix en toute liberté.
